We chose to do a coach tour to Whistler from Vancouver.  You can also do the trip by train (this includes breakfast and an evening meal) but you have to get up too early (7 am train!) and we we're on holiday!  The mini-bus trip was really good.  We went with West Coast City & Nature Sightseeing.  The guide, Holgar, was witty, funny and knowledgeable and had lots of great stories to tell us.  I believe that all of the tours will pick you up from your hotel (around 8:30 am).  You can pay by cash or credit card.  The cost was CDN $56.  Our group was a mixture of Brits, Americans, Aussies et al.  Holgar stopped at all the best places and allowed us ample time to take photos.  I'm not going to give a long description (I couldn't do justice to Holgar).  Suffice to say we had a great time and our thanks go to Holgar :-)

The Shannon Falls
The Shannon Falls.  Impressive but much more impressive in spring after the snow thaws.

Sea to Sky Highway (Vancouver to Whistler)
Stabamouschief(?). A Veeerrrry large block of Granite. It takes climbers 10 hours to climb this Glacier on the top of a mountain. There are 7(?) in the area and only 3(?) are named Nathalie gets a cold shoulder :-)
Me next to the Brandywine Falls Another Glacier shot
A haunting Sunset picture to finish off with :-)

The Brandywine falls. My favorite picture that day. It deserves it's own slot

I suppose I ought to do a couple of shots of Whistler itself :-)
