The Black Adder

Why did I buy theblackadder.co.uk domain name? The Black Adder starring Rowan Atkinson is my favorite comedy series of all time. Each of the 4 series is set in a different time period in British history and each has a different style. There was also a Xmas special and a Comic relief special (never sold on video). There's a new film coming out on the 31st December 1999 and the crew is back together again with a few new members. I'm really looking forward to it. Rowan Atkinson is a comedy genuis (not too keen on Mr Bean though) and is the worlds highest paid comedy actor (I believe due to Mr Bean).

The series continues to be extremely funny even after several times of watching! Several guest stars include Tom Baker (Dr Who and another of my favorite actors), Brian Blessed, Miranda Richardson, Tim McInnery, Fry & Laurie etc etc. The list is endless! The writers behind the series are Ben Elton (fantastic comedian!) and Richard Curtis.
