The Hague is where I live!
Korte Koediefstraat 7
Ridderzaal (Knights Hall)
On the night of the 29th April the
Hague (and most Dutch cities)
celebrate   Koninginnenacht (the
night before the   Queen  Mothers birthday!)  You can   compare it to
New Years Eve but with lots   of
bands and  warmer weather!  In
1998,   De  Kast and  Anouk played (amongst   others)
Eerste Kamer - Dutch houses of Parliment
Ridderzaal - Knights Hall,
sandwiched in between the
Eerste & Tweede Kamers (Houses
of Commons &Lords). It's in the centre of The Hague. Also in the area you have the Gevangenis Poort (prisoners gate), the Maurits Huis (a museum for paintings) and Queen Beatrix's working palace
.
Some of my friends......

The Eerste Kamer,
of the Dutch
government There is an avenue of
trees of one side with benches to sit on and
can be a great place for sitting and admiring the view.  In the winter, this lake freezes over and the
Dutch (who are fanatical skaters) skate all over it.
It's a wonderful sight!

Koninginnenacht (the night before the Queen Mother's Birthday)

Curfew in the Hague is strictly enforced!
