Frans Josef Glacier 8th & 9th Jan 2005

We found a great campervan site here, called Forest Park. It was as if we were camping in the forest. Best campervan site so far. The town itself is only a couple of k's from the car park closest to the glacier but then it was a 45 min walk or so to the galcier itself. The glaciers here in New Zealand are the closest to the coast anywhere in the world and they're also the fastest moving (still too slow for the naked eye.
