I wandered a lot, fortunately
the train station is very close to the city center. The naval museum was quite
cool and so was the roman bath ruins. I do like the place but i was surprised
to see the beach front deserted and although a lot of bars were ready but empty
there was a furious effort in a lot of bars to be built rebuilt or renovated.
I guess the timing has to do with the summer festival. It must be warmer then
hollland in may so why wasnt it busieri decided to stop for food before catching
my train as it was a 4 and a quater hour journey. Good timing, as only 15 mins
later a thunderstorm started! Monsoon season maybei had to change at ruse train
station for bucharest but this meant a 5 hour layover. I caught an official
taxi to the city center and he only charged me 2 lev or 1 eur. Im impressed!
I found a bar, now i have to wait until 240am for my train....... It cost me
3 lev to get back which is still only a pound. I bumped into a nice welsh couple
at the train station who had bought a house in varna. They had a few problems
including someone nicking their car from outside their house. Good luck to
